Merry Christmas - or Blessed Christmas -

 


The Chinese words said: Have a "Blessed" Christmas, rather than the usual "Merry Christmas".
This is so different than the traditional "Merry" Christmas (pretending we should be happy all the time ).
Disclaimer:
1) I respect everyone's perspective.
2) There is nothing wrong to say: "Merry Christmas" to spread a little cheers.
3) A different view is not saying I am right, you are wrong.
(I and you are just personal pronoun - not me is different from you )

Many years ago, I was caroling at a hospital - bringing joy and happiness to the patients and their family members who were visiting them. As we sang: "We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year", I was so sad and guilty in my heart.
1) I looked at the patients who were lying in bed. I remembered I the patients whom I talked to at different time in the Convalescent Hospital. If I was one of them, would I really had a Merry Christmas and would I had a Happy New Year ?
2) Now, I wish that we stop singing those songs and do something different.
3) People often asked me: "Why?"
a) Why my husband left me?
b) Why my wife always pick on me? (bickering / nagging)
c) Why my teenager so rebellious ?
(especially passive-aggression)
d) Why do I believe in Jesus now if God already knew that I am
not a good Christian later?
Recently a person asked me:
Does the Bible have a verse for every problem?
I said: "No" The Bible and Prayers do not solve problems.
We must understand 2 things first:
1) Who we are ?
2) Who God is ? (I am not talking about theology - the Trinity)
Reasons:
Many worldview (with lies and deceptions ) to tell us who we are and who God is outside of the church and even "inside of the church" with false and lopsided teachings.
"Spiritual Abuse" is the terms which someone force their religious view onto another person. "Spiritual Abuse" often leads to other abusive relationship & sinful desires.
The message of Christmas is not for a good feeling of happiness, but receiving the blessed hope of Jesus is the Savior who was born to suffer and to die for us -salvation is a "gift" from God.
As Amazon motto: "On time delivery".
The "gift" has your name on it. Have the gift in your life.
My prayer is that you have a "blessed" Christmas !
過一個 “蒙恩” 的聖誕節，而不是通常的“聖誕快樂”。
這與傳統的“Merry”聖誕節大不相同（假裝我們應該一直很開心）。

b) 為什麼我的妻子總是挑剔我？ （爭吵/嘮叨）
c) 為什麼我的少年如此叛逆？
（尤其是被動攻擊）
d) 如果上帝已經知道我
以後不是一個好基督徒, 為什麼我 "現在"相信耶穌。 ？
最近有人問我：
聖經: 每一個問題 具有的經文嗎？
我說：“不” 聖經和禱告不能解決問題。
我們必須先了解兩件事：
1）我們是誰？
2）上帝是誰？ （我不是在談論神學——三位一體）
原因：
許多世界觀（帶有謊言和欺騙）告訴我們我們是誰，上帝是誰，在教會之外，甚至在“教會內部”，都用虛假和不平衡的教導來告訴我們。
“精神虐待” (Spiritual Abuse ) 是某人將其宗教觀點強加於他人的術語。 “精神虐待”通常會導致其他虐待關係和有罪的慾望。
聖誕節的信息不是為了一種幸福的感覺，而是接受耶穌(神的恩典) 是為我們而生的救主——救恩是上帝的“禮物”。

“禮物”上有你的名字。接收它。打開禮物。擁有生命中的禮物。
我祈禱你有一個“蒙神的恩典”的聖誕節！

This is a smaller church with small group (about 7 of the 13 to 15 years old ) ....... Kids were misbehave during church worship service.
